Breaking the 8 is non-negotiable – Eastern Regional NPP Chairman

‘The agenda ‘breaking the 8’ is non-negotiable and all hands must be on deck to ensure that it does not become a mirage’, this is the resolve of the retained Eastern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Jeff Konadu Addo.

Speaking on Accra-based Okay Fm, he described it as the ultimate objective insisting that the party cannot afford to fail, pledging the support of his region to this course.

“We will explore all the means and ensure that the Eastern Region contributes its quota in making it a reality which is among my topmost priorities for the NPP”, he disclosed.

On how this agenda does not fail he revealed “we need to unite the party, we must look for disgruntled members who have vowed not to take part in future elections and build bridges among ourselves. We need to give the disappointed members of the party hope that they belong to one big family and therefore need to support”

The NPP executive observed that others may have enjoyed under the current dispensation but urged them to bear in mind that the next after breaking the 8 could be them for which reason they should not leave the party at the crossroads.

“It may be the turn of someone today and when God blesses the party and we break the 8 it could be yours so they should not be disappointed at all. We need the vigorous campaign to break the 8 with a disappointed grassroots”, he observed.
